The best way to understand what OSH is like is to hear from the families who are living it. These are real parents — not summaries, not curated highlights, but the full accounts of what their experience with OSH has actually been. What OSH Families Say
My twin boys started Homeschooling with OurSchoolHouse in 2020. And I am very glad I took that decision. The quality of content and support is very good and it offers much more than a regular school. What I like about it is that it promotes self learning and self motivation in children, a desire to want to learn. It can be customized for the child as per his need which is so important as it allows a child to excel in the areas they are good and helps them to build confidence on the subject that they find challenging. This is the new way of education which is much needed now, seeing how regular schools are way more expensive and the children are groomed to think inside the box. Most Schools are like competitive businesses and treat children with one shoe fits all attitude with the sole focus on making money by alluring parents with sports facilities and infrastructure.
What stands out in Mitushi’s experience is the combination of genuine personalisation and self-motivated learning — two children, each finding their own footing, in a program that moved with them rather than ahead of them.
I sincerely thank OurSchoolHouse for their learning program, that my son is a student of, for the wonderful support and flexibility. We were skeptical about online classes before enrolling him into OurSchoolHouse but, as everything is recorded and animated, and even the periodic assessments are also flexible, it was not only a great way to learn but it also gave us a lot of freedom in timings as we are both working parents. The added advantages were the online library, coding, and math concept learning courses provided to us without any extra costs. My son thoroughly enjoyed all of it.
Suvarna’s family came in sceptical about online learning and left convinced — with a child who enjoyed the process and two working parents who finally had the flexibility they needed.
The OurSchoolHouse learning program is an excellent program for students who wish to homeschool. The step-by-step, daily updated program with fun quizzes, games and interactive assessments was an excellent way to assess the student without any pressure of ranking or comparisons with peers. The continuous support from the student development supervisor and the flexibility of changing reading levels, timings and dates of assessments made everything much more enjoyable and easier. The fact that we can ask to learn a new subject or language without paying any extra charges made our journey more enjoyable. Thank you OSH and our student development supervisor for making our homeschooling experience hassle free.
For Chaitra’s family, the absence of pressure — no rankings, no comparisons, no rigid timelines — made the difference between a child who dreads assessment and one who engages with it willingly.
